When it comes to building homes that are more than just structures, Ed Francez, founder of Francez Builders LLC, has been setting the standard for over 40 years. With an impressive portfolio of approximately 400 custom homes, Ed’s passion and expertise are evident in every project he undertakes. His approach to homebuilding is rooted in timeless design, attention to detail, and a genuine love for the craft.
A Legacy of Craftsmanship
Ed began his journey into homebuilding with a strong foundation. Early in his career, he worked with renowned professionals like Randolph Trappe and architect Mike Murphy, who helped shape his perspective on design and construction. Inspired by Mike’s specific ideas and his own admiration for old-world charm, Ed’s homes often feature unique elements such as stucco on brick and antique materials that tell a story.
“I didn’t do it for any other reason than I like building,” Ed shares. “I get a good feeling when people thank me, but what they don’t realize is, I could thank them because I had a good time doing it.” This genuine passion drives his work and leaves a lasting impression on his clients.
The Hallmarks of a Francez Home
When you step into a home crafted by Ed Francez, you immediately notice the meticulous attention to detail. Each project reflects Ed’s commitment to quality and creativity. Here are some of the standout features you can expect in a Francez home:
Custom Elements: From unique front doors to antique materials, Ed ensures that every home is one of a kind.
Premium Finishes: High-quality granite countertops, baked-on cabinet finishes, and expert paint jobs are just a few examples of the superior craftsmanship.
Thoughtful Design: Touches like pop-up ceilings and convenient switches next to the bed enhance both aesthetics and functionality.
A Builder Who Puts Passion First
For Ed, building homes isn’t just a profession; it’s a way of life. His work is a reflection of his dedication to creating spaces that are not only beautiful but also deeply personal. Ed’s joy comes from the satisfaction of his clients and the fulfillment of seeing his vision come to life.
“They can expect attention to detail,” Ed says of his clients. “They’ll get cabinets with baked-on finishes, high-quality granite, and so much more.”
